It’s that time of the year again, when we stop wearing summer dresses, stop going to the local community swimming pool, stop sleeping in every day. It’s time for school to start. Sofia is in second grade this year! How time flies …
For our last weekend of summer break, we decided to go and be tourists in our own town.
We went to the Space Needle, explored the Seattle Waterfront and had an amazing seafood feast at a local favorite, Elliot’s Oyster House.
What a perfect ending to a great summer!
We spent the day yesterday on Big Beach. The water was great, the sand was soft and the girls had a blast. Sofia especially really enjoyed swimming in the waves, which was a pleasure to watch since she was terrified of the ocean just a year ago!
Sofia did not feel good this last few days. She had a tummy ache that lasted 3 days. So mommy decided to take her to the doctor, which decided to send her to the ER with concerns that she might have appendicitis. So after some blood and urine tests and an ultrasound we were happy to hear that her appendix is just fine. Turns out, she was just constipated!
