Sofia’s first airplane trip

On Sunday, Sofia mommy and daddy traveled to Seattle for daddy’s work. We will be here for about 2 months.

This was Sofia’s first trip in an airplane.

She enjoyed most of it, with the exception of the landing, when her ears started popping.

During the flight, she read the emegency instructions, played with puffy and pinky, ate pufuleti, took a nap, made a few friends and walked around with daddy.

We eventually made it to Seattle, tired and hungry, but safe.

Sofia’s first cold

This past Sunday, Sofia got her first cold. Mommy was very upset about it, she wished she could take Sofia’s cold away … But no such luck.

Her little nose is runny, and at night it gets stuffy which makes it hard for her to breathe.

But she’s a good trooper during the day, you wouldn’t say she’s sick unless mommy tries to clean her nose, and then she protests.

Mommy hope and prayer is that the cold goes away before our move to Seattle!

Say NO to the walker!

About a month or so ago, we tried baby walker. Sofia warmed up to it fast, and in no time flat was moving around all over the room. However, after only a few days we realized that her walking, when held by her arms, was not as firm as before. Instead of walking with her typical “military” step she started trying to slide/push with her legs as she was doing in the walker. That’s when we said no more walker. We did a little bit of web research on the subject and found that most people and doctors recomend not using a walker for the same reasons. So, no more baby walker for Sofia – now she is very good at crawling and doesn’t even need one. In any case, here are a few cute pictures to document those baby-walker-days. Enjoy!
